The A Major scale fingering pattern 3 starts on the 9th fret up to the 12th fret. Spread your fingers with your forefinger on the 9th, middle finger on the 10th, ring finger on the 11th and the small finger on the 12th fret.
Your four fingers should be placed to their corresponding fret destination as you do the scaling. Try to avoid passing your fingers to the other fret. Maintain the flexibility of your fingers by scaling from their own places.
The advantage of scaling using this technique will result to more speed and more professional look. Make your fingers do their job just like the feet of a crab not seeing your whole hand is trying hard to do the scaling. Put the stress to your fingers not to your whole hand so that you would look like just having fun and playing with confidence.
Now get your fingers over the fret board and practice this Major Scale Fingering Pattern 3. Do the alternate picking. As you did before, don't start fast, start slowly and gradually increasing your speed. When you reached the mastery level rest for a while, do the finger stretching and have a snack. If you feel you on the go, go back to the A Major scale fingering patterns 1 and 2 then to the pattern 3. Do them all continuously.
Tips:
Make fun experimenting with the scales you have learned by making your own melodic tunes. Combine the three Major scale patterns to create electrifying sounds.
Now, you are almost done with this Scale Pattern.
You have 2 more training to go to dominate these scales.
